.:Tohopka the Wild Beast:.

Removing all the information since I didn't win her.
But the winner can use this picture as kaaring.
A nordanner bid, this mare was soo pretty! And there is a little story to go with the picture :

Green Cricket, who took care of the mare since she was wandering near the village, thought it would be better for her to be released. Her wild personality made it impossible for anyone to gain her trust. That's why she was named Tohopka, a name meaning "Wild Beast".
A blue circle was painted around her eye when she arrived. Now, she needed a mark showing she was free from now on. The mare was taken in an arena as Green Cricket painted his hand red. He then entered the arena with her, opened the door and hit her butt with his hand painted in red. The mare reared before galloping like she never did before, as if she waited that moment since she was captured. Even the fastest racehorse wouldn't be able to run next to her.

Green Cricket returned in his small teepee (american indian huts). He knew what he did was right, but it still made him sad. For him, she wasn't an ordinary mare. Her coat was so unique, not like a usual mustang. But was she a mustang? Green Cricket knew it wasn't the case, the way her mane and tail were at her arrival weren't those of a mustang. He heard of this breed, the Nordanners. And Tohopka had everything of one of them.

After a few hours of galloping and trotting, she arrived at the top of a hill. She lived there before her parents were captured by the white ones. But something was different. All the trees that were there were remplaced by something long. Suddenly, a huge machine pumping out steam came out of no where, travelling on those metal things. Tohopka was at first curious about that, and decided to follow the big machine. Her legs made her get to his level quite quickly. Humans. White humans were inside that machine. They were looking at Tohopka with curious eyes.

This was too much for her. She slowed down, until stopping. The sun was setting down. Tohopka didn't know what to do, other than returing to Green Cricket's village. Something told her it was the safest place for her. She started galloping towards the setting sun. She couldn't stop thinking about Green Cricket. A little tear went down her face.
The night was full of skies when Tohopka reached the village. A fire was lit in front of Green Cricket's teepee. She highered her head before lying down and looking at the fire until it no longer burnt.....

Guys, I allow you to slap me sooooo hard! I know I said I was no longer into nordies but *DovieCaba tempted me too much with the mare number 686! I am personnally really proud of this! I tried to make a lineart more detailed than what I usually do. And for the first time, I paied attention to the light sources! (Yellow highlightsfrom the fire, blue shadows from the sky and brownish underbelly shadows). Reproducing her design was soooo fun!
